2. What data we process

NetMonitor is designed to minimize personal data collection. While using the connection measurement tool, we process:

• Your IP address, temporarily, technically required to establish the WebSocket connection and calculate your network's latency.
• Technical server logs (nginx) for security and diagnostic purposes, with limited retention.

NetMonitor currently does not require an account for the free tier, and does not store a measurement history tied to your identity. If a Pro tier with user accounts is enabled in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect the new data processed (e.g. email for authentication).

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process this data solely to provide the requested service (measuring your connection) and to ensure the security and proper functioning of the site, based on legitimate interest and on performing the service you actively request by using the tool.

4. Recipients

We do not share, sell, or disclose your data to third parties for advertising purposes. NetMonitor displays no ads. Technical data may be processed by our infrastructure (hosting) provider only to the extent necessary to operate the service.

5. Retention

Technical server logs are kept for a limited period, only as long as necessary for security and diagnostic purposes.

6. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and object to the processing of your data, as well as data portability. You can exercise these rights by writing to contacto@netmonitor.info.
